Spotlight Cinemas opened their first theater in April 1996. This first theater was located in Orono, Maine and started as a discount theater. In 2003, adjusting to industry changes, the cinema was upgraded with stadium seating and began showing first run movies. Currently, Spotlight Cinemas operates two theaters - Skowhegan, ME and Columbia, SC. Many things have changed over the years, but not our dedication to provide quality family entertainment and exceptional value.

All Spotlight locations feature digital projection and sound. Some locations have 3D and stadium seating.
